Physio Insoles in Colchester, Essex

The purpose of Generic orthotics is to temporarily off load tissue or assist in more appropriate biomechanical function during movement or exercise. When there is minor to moderate biomechanical problems of the foot or ankle, identifying deficits or reduced efficiency in how the movement of the ankle or foot is controlled is key.

This allows exercises to be prescribed together with Orthotics and physio insoles so that poor movement control is corrected immediately by the Orthotic and then by adaption to exercise so that Orthotics are no longer needed or relied on. If our therapists identify that you require more in-depth analysis of your foot biomechanics and would benefit from Prescription Orthotics we are happy to refer you to a podiatrist who can help.

Conditions Orthotics can Treat

"Thanks to Craig the pain in my feet, (plantar fasciitis) has gone, having been suffering from this condition for many years. The treatment was 1st class and the follow up exercises should keep me trouble free for a long time to come. The whole practice offers an all round positive experience, especially with all the coronavirus restrictions."

"I went to Craig initially with a foot injury, that I had seen 3 Podiatrists and an Orthopaedic Surgeon about, but who had not been able to really help me. Craig diagnosed the problem very quickly and offered advice and some physical help, that has seen me well on my way to recovery. I also told him about a problem with my neck and although it not something that can be cured, with his advice and again some physical manipulation, I am now managing the pain a lot better."
