Cancer Rehabilitation Physiotherapy

Our team can guide you through the process physically and psychologically, doing our best to assist you in your recovery.
What to expect from an appointment:
Discussion: To begin, our designated physiotherapist Amy will sit down and discuss any problems you are having, and what you are looking to improve.
Assessment: An analysis and assessment will then be carried out in view of the initial discussion.
Advice: Following the assessment, your physiotherapist will offer their expert advice on the next steps.
Hands on Treatment: If necessary and appropriate, your physiotherapist will provide hands on treatment to help with your physiotherapy.
Home Exercise Programme: The final stage of your appointment will see a personalised home exercise programme provided, to help with issues that have been discussed and assessed.

With over 12 years of experience in oncology physiotherapy, Amy Eade serves as our dedicated in-house physiotherapist.
Amy is a recognised Post Rehabilitative Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist via the Pink Ribbon Program and has completed certification as a PINC physiotherapist with PINC and STEEL International; a company founded on the basis of developing a world class program for cancer survivorship.

What is Lymphoedema Physiotherapy?
Lymphoedema physiotherapy is a treatment aimed at managing lymphoedema, a condition where excess fluid builds up in the body, causing swelling. This therapy includes treatments such as foam compression, Fluoroscopy guided manual lymphatic damage and kinesio-taping.
